The Forbidden Fruit

The seeds planted long ago,
Thoughts that linger deep after dark…
An Unforgettable desire to taste,
Now the uncertainty must finally bear fruit.

The flowers rose and blossomed
In the darkest corners of the world.
The sapling grew and bloomed,
Now take a bite out of the forbidden fruit.

The witch dances with the fruit,
whispering promises of desire.
In exchange for your wicked heart,
Will you taste the forbidden fruit?

Hold out your heart, exposed and bare—
The poisoned fruit will infect its core.
Cursed by the forbidden thoughts,
Can the evil eye protect what’s lost?

Now fall a slumber with the curse,
Wait for the one to arrive.
If the witch has locked the door,
Can the one make its way to you?

The forbidden fruit knows it all—
Your passion, your desire, and the wants.
You can deny it all you want but,
You must taste the forbidden fruit
If you want to get what you want.
